Penticton Golf & Country Club
Penticton Golf and Country Club is a major part of BC's golf history, and its founding dates back to 1922. Over the years the club has grown and the course has changed locations, but it has been continuously improving with every move. In 1961 the Penticton Golf and Country Club opened up the first 18 hole course in the B.C. Interior on land just south of Eckhardt Avenue, between Kings Park and the Okanagan River Channel in Penticton B.C. The site as it is today became available in 1965, and the course became championship-sized for the first time in the club's history. It is an 18-hole course and one of the best conditioned courses in the Okanagan Valley. It offers a game playable for all different kinds of players, with water to play on 12 of the holes and strategically placed bunkers to protect the greens. the Penticton Golf Course is a must-play and must-see beautiful course for local and visiting golfers.
